Pediatric Emergency

In 2017, we opened a Pediatric ER at The Children’s Hospital at TriStar Centennial in Nashville, Tennessee. Our kids ER is dedicated to treating emergent needs of infants, toddlers and adolescents and is staffed with board certified, fellowship trained pediatric emergency medicine physicians.

We provide direct access to onsite pediatricians and pediatric specialists at The Children’s Hospital should children at any of our Middle Tennessee kid-friendly emergency rooms need transferred for a higher level of care.

Trauma

A number of our facilities are designated as Level II and Level III Trauma Centers.

TriStar Skyline

State-designated provisional Level I Trauma Center

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is designated by the State of Tennessee as a provisional Level I Trauma Center. TriStar Skyline has trauma surgeons on-site 24/7 for major traumatic injuries such as falls, motor vehicle collisions or penetrating wounds.

Trauma specialists include neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons and oral maxillofacial surgeons. The trauma center is uniquely positioned north of Nashville to provide life-saving care to patients from both Tennessee and Kentucky.
